The flagship magazine of Seattle Pacific University, Response offers a new take on an old paradigm – alumni magazines. SPU hoped that a fresh vision of the editorial structure and strategy could be partnered with a fresh lens for the magazine design. Having newly rebranded the school itself, the fruit was ripe for the picking. Together we created a magazine design that is minimal, though not sparse. A focus on strong typography and dynamic layouts allows the stories and art to breath in a sophisticated structure.
